1st IRP consultation workshop was made with Zone B phase 4 physically affected persons at Aye Mya Thida community center, Kyauktan Township on 2nd March 2020. JICA Expert Team (JET) and family members from Zone B Phase 4 PAHs attended the meeting. First of all, the awareness of IRP main activities which include the series of consultation meetings with PAPs, technical supports, vulnerable people program, follows up and monitoring were introduced and explained.

With the technical assistance of JICA Expert Team (JET), TSMC has been provided rice and cooking oils to 12 vulnerable households of Thilawa SEZ Zone B phase 3 project affected households by targeting the elderly, woman-headed and people with disabilities at Aye Mya Thida ward, Kyauktan township on 31st January 2020.

As a part of income restoration program activities, Vulnerable People Program was provided on 29th January 2020 at Zone B relocation site. The purpose of the provision is to provide monthly basic foodstuffs (rice and oil) for 54 family members from 23 households who were eligible as vulnerable households in accordance with the VPP criteria in March 2018. Such kind of monthly provision can be helpful to reduce the expenses for daily basic foodstuffs of households.

2nd Basic and advance tailoring training started on 14th November 2019, provided as a part of income restoration program for Zone B PAPs is successfully finished on 15th January 2020 at Myaing Tharyar Kindergarten, Nyaung Wine Village Tract, Kyauktan. First of all, TSMC gave the opening speech and awarded the certificates for those trainees who are outstanding during the training period of basic and advance.

10th Thilawa Community Coordination (TCC) meeting was held at Myanmar-Japan Thilawa Development Office (MJTD) on 10th January 2020. Total 30 participants; officers from MJTD, village administrators, representatives from project affected persons (PAPs) and project affected communities (PACs), Thilawa SEZ Management Committee (TSMC) and JICA Expert Team attended the meeting.
