As a part of Income Restoration Program (IRP) activities, the basic tailoring training was provided for those Zone B Project Affected Persons (PAPs) who want to learn sewing and start the home business to earn the income for their livelihoods. The training was started on 1st April 2019 and will end up on 4th May 2019 at Myaing Thar Yar kindergarten, Nyaung Wine Village Tract, instructed by the professional trainer from Domestic Vocational Training School under the Ministry of Social Welfare Relief and Resettlement. Total 15 participants are attending the training.
9th Thilawa Community Coordination (TCC) meeting was held at Myanmar-Japan Thilawa Development Office (MJTD) on 19th March 2019. 19 participants including MJTD, village administrators, representatives from project affected communities (PACs), PAPs and Thilawa SEZ Management Committee (TSMC) attended the meeting. The purpose of the meeting is to review the CSR activities for PACs that have been done and planning by MJTD, and to know the relevant requests and complaints from community.
